The apparent low bid submitted by Charley Toppino & Sons, Inc. included a Base Bid of $829,475.34 and an Additive Bid # 1 of $183,215.00 for a Total Bid of $1,012,710.34. In addition, we have prepared the attached a Bid Tabulation Matrix for your reference. The Base Bid amount of the apparent low bidder exceeds the current funding available for the project. Based on the above information, we respectfully recommend that Monroe County reject all bids at this time. We will work with Monroe County Purchasing and the Airport to re -package and re -bid the project with an adjusted scope reflective of the available funding.
