AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval to advertise for bids to demolish the existing Road
Department office trailer located at the Public Works Complex, 3583 S. Roosevelt Blvd., Key West, and
replace it with a new modular office including new foundation, stairs and deck.
ITEM BACKGROUND: The 12' x 56' Road Department office trailer is uninhabitable and beyond
economical repair. The Supervisor and Staff Assistant are temporarily operating within the Public Works
Facility Maintenance office building, and the Road Maintenance crew of approximately eleven (11)
employees have been displaced to do their reporting paperwork out of their trucks and/or within the
complex grounds.
