AGENDA ITEM WORDING:
Approval to re-appoint Mr. Rudolph Krause, CBC048885 to one
additional three-year term to the Contractors' Examining Board (CEB) beginning January 21, 2018.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
recommend the re-appointment of Mr. Rudolph Krause to the CEB at the January 9, 2018 meeting.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
The Board appointed Mr. Krause on December 17,
2008 when he replaced outgoing member Edward Werling, CBC024037 on January 2009. On March
21, 2007, the BOCC approved advertising the amendment to M.C.C. Section 6-85 repealing term
limits of members of the CEB. The ordinance was amended effective May 2, 2007 removing term
limitations. Per M.C.C. 6-624.(a), regular voting members and two alternate voting members are
appointed by the Board of County Commission (BOCC). Mr. Krause was re-appointed by the BOCC

to one additional three-year term on January 19, 2012 January 21, 2015 and again on January 21,
2015 January 21, 2018.
