ITEM BACKGROUND: Ronda Norman is retiring on April 30, 2015. Cynthia McPherson was hired on September, 2009 as the Sr. Administrator for the Code Compliance Department. Ms. McPherson has over 18 years of Code Compliance experience including 8 years with the City of Marathon and 2 '/2 years with the county. It is in the best interest of the Growth Management Division to appoint Ms. McPherson to the Senior Director position. Her familiarity with County Codes, State and Federal Agency requirements and her ability to manage the operations of the Code Compliance Department are strong attributes.
