NARRATIVE
STANLEY WEBB III
25 YEARS OF SERVICE
Firefighter Stanley Webb III began his service with Monroe County on August 20, 1990
as a paramedic. Prior to this he had been employed as a paramedic with several other
agencies in South Florida.
In 1999 Firefighter Webb attended the first Fire Academy hosted by Monroe County
Fire Rescue (MCFR) at which time he became a State certified firefighter. Throughout
his career with MCFR, Firefighter Webb completed training as a flight medic for the
original Trauma Star helicopter; taught many new paramedics as a paramedic
preceptor; and completed training in Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF). He has
spent the majority of his career with MCFR serving the communities of Stock Island
(Fire Station 8) and Big Coppitt (Fire Station 9).
In January of 2013 he was assigned to Fire Station 7 at the Key West International
Airport (KWIA). To date, he continues to serve as an ARFF firefighter and an Airport
Safety Inspector for MCFR / KWIA.
Firefighter Webb’s personnel file is overflowing with accolades, awards, and certificates
of continuing training. Firefighter Webb has been and continues to be a valuable asset
to Monroe County Fire Rescue and this community. We are proud to honor him with
this length of service award.
