ITEM BACKGROUND: The existing contract allows for the County to adjust the contract amount annually in accordance with the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI -U) for the most recent twelve (12) months available. The County exercises the option to amend the agreement and adjust in accordance annually with the percentage change in the U.S. Department of Commerce Consumer Price Index (CPI -U) ending December 31 of 2.1 %. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: On March 15th, 2017 the BOCC granted approval for the First Renewal and Amendment 4 to the Agreement extending the agreement to March 15, 2019 and also adjusted the contract amount in accordance with the U.S. Department of Commerce Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers (CPI -U). On November 22nd, 2016 the BOCC granted approval of Addendum No. 3 to add one additional delivery for the Public Works and Engineering, 300 Magnolia, Key Largo 431. On August 16th, 2016 the BOCC granted approval of Addendum No. 2 to remove one delivery for the Department of Health, Roosevelt Sands Center, Key West 42B. On July 20th, 2016 the BOCC granted approval of Addendum No. 1 to add one additional delivery for the Tax Collector on Big Pine Key 41 OC. On March 18th, 2015 the BOCC granted approval to award bid and authorized execution of a two (2) year contract with an option to renew for two (2) additional two (2) year periods. This CPI -U adjustment shall be retroactively approved to March 16, 2018. 3. In all other respects, the Agreement dated March 18, 2015, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused these presents to be executed in their respective names.
