Total cost is $33,013.89. ITEM BACKGROUND: The Monroe County Sheriff s Office Administration Building at 5525 College Road was found to contain mold following Hurricane Irma. Temporary accommodations for Monroe County Sheriffs Office staff were necessary during the mold remediation and repair of the building immediately following the mold remediation. During installation an additional landing was needed to accommodate walking paths surrounding the temporary utilities in the parking lot. The sheriff needed an additional three trailers to accommodate for departments within the Sheriff s office that handle the public. Total cost of $33,013.89 is broken down as $32,574.87 for three trailers, and $439.02 for one landing. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: 2/21/18- BOCC ratified the lease signed by the administrator for the lease of one triple wide and one seven unit wide trailers for one year at the Monroe County Sheriff s Office in the amount of $162,184.08.
