PK Wastewater Treatment Plant-AbandonmentIn accordance with the Consultant Agreement for Professional Engineering and Surveying
Services, made and entered into on the 21 day of October, 2015, between MONROE
COUNTY, hereinafter referred to as the "County," and F.R. ALEMAN AND ASSOICATES,
INC., hereinafter referred to as "Consultant," where professional services are allowed if
construction costs do not exceed One Hundred Thousand and 00 /100 Dollars ($100,000.00), or
for study activity if the fee for professional services for each individual study under the contract
does not exceed Ten Thousand and 00 /100 Dollars ($10,000.00), hereinafter referred to as the
"Agreement ".
All terms and conditions of the referenced Agreement apply to this Task Order, unless this Task
Order amends, adds, or modifies a provision or an Article of the Agreement of which will be
specifically referenced in this Task Order and the amendment, addition, or modification shall be
precisely described. These additions apply only to the project referenced in this Task Order.
This Task Order is effective on the . of' 2011 .
WHEREAS, the County desires subsurface utility engineering to locate all underground utilities
that are in conflict with the proposed connection to the sewer system and subsequent
abandonment of the existing waste water treatment plant at the Plantation Key Roth Building.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants set forth below, the
parties agree as follows:
1. In accordance with Article II, SCOPE OF BASIC SERVICES, of the Professional
Engineering and Surveying Services Agreement, the Consultant will perform services as
described below:
a. Consultant shall provide subsurface utility engineering (S.U.E.) and Survey Field
Crews, equipment, and special tools to designaate (including Ground Penetrating
Radar, "GPR ") and survey horizontal locations of all utilities for Plantation Key
Roth Building Wastewater Treatment Plant Abandonment Plash, including.
conducting appropriate records research, programming and calibrating
electromagnetic utility locating equilrarretrt, performing horizontal locations of
existing conductive utilities using electromagnetic techniques, marking selected

targets on the ground surface as necessary, interpreting field data and perform on-
site designating field sketches and surveying of utility targets.
b. Consultant shall provide horizontal locations of designated utilities in a CADD
drawing and PDF format.
2. In accordance with Article VII, COMPENSATION, paragraph 7.1.1, of the Professional
Engineering and Surveying Services Agreement, the County shall pay the Consultant a
lump sum fee of Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty -One and 92/100 Dollars
($7,751.92) paid upon document review and approval by the Director of Project
Management.
All other Terms and Conditions of the Task Order shall remain in accordance with the
Agreement dated October 21, 2015.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, each party caused this Task Order to be executed by its duly
authorized representative.
