ITEM BACKGROUND: The current Grants Analyst (Michelle Grillo) is re -locating therefore her position will be vacant beginning May 17, 2013. The personnel policy allows for a 30 day overlap, however, this position is highly technical and deals with the Human Services Advisory Board, Substance Abuse Advisory Board as well as other not -for -profit's. With the budget cycle just around the corner it is of utmost importance that the county have the replacement person in place as soon as possible which will allow for adequate training along -side the current employee through the budget cycle. There are funds available to cover the cost in the FYI budget from another vacant position in OMB, a budget transfer resolution will be brought to the board as soon as the position is approved.
