SIXTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SELECTRON TECHNOLOGIES INC.
AND MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA
THIS ADDENDUM to the Contract (Contract) between Monroe County (County) and Selectron
Technologies, Inc. (Selectron) whose address is 12323 SW 66th Avenue, Portland, OR 97223 is
entered into this (d fl day of May, 2018.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the parties entered into a Professional Service Agreement (Agreement) on
January 16, 2013, for the provision of Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) services including
hardware, software, installation and training; and
WHEREAS, on July 16, 2014 Monroe County and Selectron Technologies, Inc. entered into
the first amended agreement for the purposes of implementing the voice permits limit inspections
module and the voice permits customization; and
WHEREAS, on March 23, 2016 Monroe County and Selectron Technologies, Inc., entered
into the second amended agreement for enhancements to the IVR services that provides for
greater County compliance with elevation certification requirements as found in Monroe County
Code 122 -3(e) (21 day requirement to provide building official elevation certificate); and;
WHEREAS, on June 15, 2016 Monroe County and Selectron Technologies, Inc., entered
into a third amended agreement that allows Selectron to provide services and software necessary
to enhance the IVR services to read /write permit fee information to /from SunGard CommunityPLUS
which was paid by County in the amount of $2,500.00; and
WHEREAS, on December 14, 2016 Monroe County and Selectron Technologies, Inc.,
entered into a fourth amendment where IVR services agreed to upgrade the Integrated Voice
Response (IVR) application system in preparation for permit expiration notification enhancement
which was paid by the County in the amount of $19,500.00; and
WHEREAS, on December 14, 2016 Monroe County and Selectron Technologies, Inc.,
entered into the fifth amendment to add new enhancements that will send notifications to permit
holders to inform them of upcoming expirations of issued permits along with renewal instructions
and /or operator transfer, which was paid by the County in the amount of $30,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual covenants contained herein the
parties agree as follows:
1. Selectron shall provide professional services to integrate the County's VoicePermits IVR
with the County's new Voice Over Internet Protocol System and provide professional
services to support virtualization of IVR Server. As provided on the attached quote dated
April 13, 2018, the total amount for the upgrade is $7,500 and will be paid by the County,
2. A system enhancement will be implemented on the existing VoicePermits Outbound
Notification module which will, after making an outbound call or email attempt, update the
permitting system with the call /email result: Successful, Accepted, Rejected, Voicemail, Failed,
etc. As provided on the attached quote dated April 4, 2018, the total amount for the upgrade is
$7,350 and will be paid by the County.
3. All other terms and conditions of the January 16, 2013 Agreement and the five subsequent
Amendments between the parties, shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Sixth Amendment to Agreement.
