Responsibilities include management of two resorts, marina operations, leased retail space,
boat transportation operation, cruise ship port, public parking garage, employee housing
units, guest house and oversight of other company owned assets including two additional
lodging properties. Serves as lead contact point for Key West market for all entities owned
and managed.

Senior Vice President of Sales and Revenue Management recruited for and earned position
due to extensive sales and operations background. Responsible for revenue achievements of
15 hotels with 5000 available rooms and 100000 square feet of meeting space. Year (2004)
over Year (2003) results included a 5.7% RevPAR improvement with 95% of properties in
tertiary markets; $4.2 million improvement (10 %) in group revenue and $2.7million (8 %) in
catering revenue and "noticeable difference" in company culture.
Portfolio managed ranged from two to four star properties; group houses to transient houses;
airport to suburban to downtown to resort markets; branded (Hilton, Marriott, Radisson, Best
Western, Holiday Inn) to independents; and publicly owned to privately owned.
Hotel specific challenges and accomplishments included:
• Repositioning Hotel 71, Chicago, IL from 2- star to 4 -star property and from branded to
independent property. Net merchant third party producers were creatively used to build
occupancy and rates during valleys of city- wide group production resulting in 9.7%
growth in REVPAR in down market.
• Strategizing the changes at Pink Shell Beach Resort and Spa, Estero Island, FL from
traditional hotel operation to condo hotel operation resulting in 10.4% growth in -
REVPAR in 2004 and 38.1% growth in 2005 satisfying condo owners and REVPOR
growth of 8.2% in 2004 and 28% in 2005 satisfying the property owner. Responsible for
creating effective partnership between web marketing firm, advertising agency and public
relations agency to develop brand.
• Also served as Transition General Manager, the Sanderling Resort and Spa, Duck
(Outer Banks), NC. Four star independent resort with annual revenues over $10.0
million dollars in highly seasonal market with unique competitive set, luxury rental
homes. Transitioned from owner /operator to management company environment.
