A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, RESCINDING RESOLUTION
#524-1996 AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A GRANT
APPLICATION WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION, BOATING IMPROVEMENT FUND, AND DIRECTING THE
EXECUTION OF SAME BY THE PROPER AUTHORITIES FOR THE
RECONSTRUCTION OF THE BARCELONA BOAT RAMP, BIG COPPITT,
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, as follows:
1. That said Board hereby rescinds resolution #524-1996.
2. That said Board has been notified of the availability
of funds from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection,
Boating Improvement Fund.
3. That the Community Services Division acting for Monroe
County has received preliminary approval for the submission of a
grant application for the reconstruction of the Barcelona Boat ramp
located in Big Coppitt for which a grant in the amount of $13,323.00
will be sought.
4. That said Board hereby directs the execution of this
application by the Marine Projects Coordinator.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe cOY~1?H Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the - day of March , A.D. 1997.
