4. Task Order-Outbuilding & Fencing RepairsTASK ORDER FOR PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY AND BENDER & ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS, P.A. FOR KEY WEST LIGHTHOUSE AND KEEPERS QUARTERS MUSEUM OUTBUILDING AND FENCING REPAIRS In accordance with the Consultant Agreement for Professional Architectural and Engineering Services, made and entered into on January 21, 2015, and as amended on January 18, 2017, and as amended on April 19, 2018, between MONROE COUNTY, hereinafter referred to as the "County," and BENDER & ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS, P.A., hereinafter referred to as "Consultant" where professional services are allowed if construction costs do not exceed Two Million and 00 /100 ($2,000,000.00) Dollars, or for study activity if the fee for professional services for each individual study under the contract does not exceed Two Hundred Thousand and 00 /100 ($200,000.00) Dollars, (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement "). All terms and conditions of the Agreement apply to this Task Order, unless this Task Order amends, adds, or modifies a provision or an Article of the Agreement of which will be specifically referenced in this Task Order and the amendment, addition, or modification shall be precisely described. These additions apply only to the project referenced in this Task Order. The Key West Lighthouse and Keepers Quarters Museum, a Monroe County facility, needs repairs to an existing outbuilding and fencing as well as installation of site lighting and irrigation equipment. The Lighthouse Museum is a significant historic resource in Key West, and as such, all work is required to be in compliance with HARC, the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation and any other requirements of the State Division of Historical Resources. Therefore, Monroe County seeks professional architectural and engineering services in accordance with the current Consultant Agreement with Bender & Associates Architects, P.A. This Task Order is effective on the 19 of Nov�aXrbur, 2018, 1. In accordance with Article 11 SCOPE OF BASIC SERVICES of the Agreement, the Consultant will perform services as described below: a. Consultant shall conduct an on -site evaluation of existing conditions in and around the Key West Lighthouse and Keepers Quarters Museum, specifically, the Outbuilding and Fences, located at 938 Whitehead St., Key West, FL 33040. Consultant shall use these findings and develop a schematic design. b. Consultant shall utilize the schematic as the basis of design and then detail the repair of the existing outbuilding and fencing and the installation of site lighting and irrigation system on the construction documents. The construction documents will be structured to identify improvement types as alternates to maximize the available grant funding. The Consultant shall prepare drawings and specifications Page 1 of 3 that comply with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and coordinate with and obtain approvals from the City of Key West, State Division of Historical Resources, and the Key West Historic Architectural Review Commission (HARC). c. Consultant shall provide construction bidding services to include attending the Prebid Meeting, responding to bidder questions by addenda, evaluating all bid proposals, and making a recommendation for award. d. Consultant shall provide construction administration services including: conduct on -site visits and attend progress meetings to confirm construction and repairs are in compliance with the contract documents, applicable building codes and the Secretary of the Interior's Standards; file field reports; approve contractor's submittals, provide RFI responses, issue Information Bulletins as required, review and recommend approval of contractor invoices, final punch list /acceptance and project close out. 2. In accordance with Article VII paragraph 7.1.1, the County shall pay the Consultant a lump sum fee of Seventeen Thousand Eight Hundred and 00 /100 Dollars ($17,800.00) paid on percent complete basis for the following phases: a. On -Site Evaluation & Field Measure — consisting of schematic design — $7,120.00 upon review and approval by the Director of Project Management. b. Construction Documents — consisting of drawings and specifications setting forth in detail the requirement for the construction of the project — $6,230.00 upon document review and approval by the Director of Project Management and also be reimbursed for fees paid for securing approval of authorities having jurisdiction over the project. c. Bidding Phase — $890.00 upon completion. d. Construction Administration — $3,560.00 upon final acceptance. All other Terms and Conditions of the Task Order shall remain in accordance with the Agreement dated January 21, 2015, as amended on January 18, 2017, and as amended on April 19, 2018.
