RESOLUTION NO. 036 -2019
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSPORTATION & EXPRESSWAY
AUTHORITY MEMBERSHIP, OF FLORIDA
(TEAMFL) TO USE MONROE COUNTY'S SEAL
ON ITS' MEMBERSHIP BANNER DISPLAY
WHEREAS, the Transportation and Expressway Authority Membership of Florida
(TEAMFL) was formed in 1997 to facilitate the exchange of information among toll agencies
and the transportation industry; and
WHEREAS, the membership is made up of board members and executive staff of
statewide expressway and transit authorities, the Florida Department of Transportation, the
Florida Transportation Commission and private section transportation partners; and
WHEREAS, Monroe County/Card Sound Toll Authority is a member of TEAMFL and
TEAMFL has requested to use the County's seal on its' membership banner display, which will
list all current members; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County must give express
approval for the use or display of the county seal pursuant to §165.043, Florida Statutes;
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
1. The Board of County,Commissioners of Monroe County, as a member of the
Transportation and Expressway Authority Membership of Florida (TEAMFL), authorizes
the use of Monroe County's seal in TEAMFL's membership banner.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida,
at a regular meeting of said Board held on this 20th day of February, 2019.
