FOR CANAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
AND MASTER PLANNING SERVICES

WOOD ENVIRONMENT& INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS INC.
In accordance with the Continuing Contract for On Call Professional Engineering
Services made and entered on the l4th day of Decern cr. . Amendment N .1 dated
DcccrnbgLIA-20I7-qnd Amendment Nol between Monroe
County, hereinafter referred to as the "County" and Wood Environment & Infrastructure
Solutions, Inc, hereinafter referred to as "Consultant" where design services are allowed
if construction costs do not exceed $2,000,000.
All terms and conditions of the referenced Contract for On Call Professional Engineering
Services apply to the Task Order, unless the Task Order modifies an Article of the
Agreement of which will be specifically referenced in this Task Order and the
modification shall be precisely described.
WHEREAS, the COUNTY has received a grant horn USDA NRCS for marine debris
removal and WOOD has been selected to be the monitoring firm for work under the
grant; and
WHEREAS, time is limited to 220 days under the giant for construction work, and in
order to not delay the commencement of the S45 Million in marine debris removal
activities, preliminary services are required by WOOD to set up the monitoring
framework prior to execution of the grant agreement with the County and USDA -MRCS
to ensure marine debris removal work activities begin upon execution;
WHEREAS the services include assisting with setting up the GIS data applications which
includes iternizing and measuring the Contractor's equipment, preparing data entry forms
in Workiarce, training staff on environmental and safety requirements, and creating a
work flow system far accurately processing invoices and obtaining reimbursement for the
County; and
WHEREAS, these services will not be reimbursable under the NRCS grant since they are
beginning prior to the execution date of the grant, and therefore the services are included
under this on -call contract; and
WHEREAS, the task order will be effective as of July 27, 2018 and will terminate no
later than August 25, 2018 or the date of execution of the NRCS grant, whichever is
sooner.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises, covenants and
agreements stated herein, and for other good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency
of which is hereby acknowledged, COUNTY and CONSULTANT agree to modify the
Agrecinent as rollows:
