FOR DAMAGES SUSTAINED FROM HURRICANE IRMA
In accordance with the Continuing Contract far On Call Professional Engineering
Services made and entered on the 14#LftLof December. 20'It1 and Atrrerrdmerri
n Monroe County. hereinafter referred to as
the 'Could and Amec Foster Wheeler Environment A Infrastructure, Inc.
hereina4ter r+efaried to as "Consultant" whom design services are aid if
construction costs do not exceed $Z000,000.
All terms and candittons of the referenced Contract for On Call Professional
Engineering Services apply to the Task Order, unless the Task Order modilles an
Article of the Agreement of which will be specifically referenced in this Task Order
and the modification shall be precisely described.
WHEREAS, additional services are being included to assist with preparing and
submitting applications for USDA-NRCS EWP funding request for canal debris
dean -up and siorrnwaier ir>frastntchum impacts from Hurricane Irma; and
WHEREAS, the County is being proactive to requesting other sources of funding to
assist with the canal debris clean-up, based on past relationships in which the
USDA -MRCS EWP provided funding after Hurricane George for the removal of canal
debris dean -up; and
WHEREAS, the USDA -MRCS EWP funding Is dependent on eligibility deterrnination
using the criteria detailed In the sponsors guide based damage survey reports; and
WHEREAS, the USDA-NRCS EWP funding is dependent on congressional
appropriation; and
NOW, THEREFORE, In consideration of the mutual promises, covenants and
agreements stated herein, and for other goad and valuable consideration, the
suffidency of which Is hemby adcro►ledged, COUNTY and CONSULTANT agree to
modify the Agreamerd as follows:
