COURIER SERVICE AGREEMENT
SECOND RENEWAL AND AMENDMENT NO. 6

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this th day of March 2019, A.D., by and
between MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, (hereinafter called the"County" ), and Buccaneer
Courier, (hereinafter called the"Contractor").
WHEREAS, on March 18th, 2015, the parties entered into a two (2) year agreement for
courier services for Monroe County("Agreement"), commencing on the 16th day of March,
2015 and ending on the 15th day of March, 2017 which provided the County an option of
renewing the Agreement for two (2) additional two (2)year terms; and
WHEREAS,the Agreement was amended by Addendum 1 to add an additional delivery and
pick-up for the Tax Collector at 201 Key Deer Blvd. Unit#16, Big Pine Key; by Addendum 2
to remove a delivery and pick for the Department of Health, at Roosevelt Sands Center on
Olivia Street,Key West; by Addendum 3 to add an additional delivery and pick-up for the
Public Works and Engineering Departments at 300 Magnolia Street,Key Largo and
Addendum 5 to adjust the contract amount in accordance with the U.S. Department of
Commerce Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers (CPI-U); and
WHEREAS,the First Renewal and Amendment 4 to the Agreement dated March 15, 2017
extended the agreement to March 15, 2019 and also adjusted the contract amount in
accordance with the U.S. Department of Commerce Consumer Price Index for all Urban
Consumers (CPI-U); and
WHEREAS, the Agreement expires on March 15th, 2019 and both parties desire to renew the
Agreement for two additional years, this being the second renewal option, and apply an
annual CPI adjustment as allowed under the Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE,IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual promises contained herein,the
parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
1. In accordance with Paragraph 1.04(B.) of the Agreement, the County hereby adjusts
the contract amount in accordance with the percentage change in the U.S. Department
of Commerce Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) for all Urban Consumers as reported by
the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics for the most recent twelve months available ending _
December 31 of 1.9%.
2. This CPI-U adjustment shall be retroactively approved to March 16, 2019.
3. In accordance with Paragraph 4 of the 2015 agreement,the County hereby exercises
its option to renew the agreement for an additional two-year term beginning March 15,
2019 and ending March 15, 2021.
4. In all other respects,the Agreement dated March 18, 2015, as amended, shall remain
in full force and effect.
