During this time period, our existing AT&T dedicated technician (using his dedicated AT&T provided vehicle) will inspect and remove all obsolete equipment/cabling related to the replaced Nortel phone system. ITEM BACKGROUND: Our dedicated AT&T technician (Ed Burr) supported our Nortel phone system for the last several decades. Now that it has been successfully replaced by our Mitel system, he is managing the removal of the obsolete Nortel Phone equipment/cabling from all of the 40 plus Monroe County locations in a thorough and careful manner. He is uniquely qualified to perform that removal without disrupting other services. It is anticipated that the complete removal will take 6 months. Additionally, he is still performing network cabling on an as available basis for the BOCC and Constitutional officers.
