RESOLUTION NO. 135 -1997
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, EVIDENCING THE BOARD'S APPROVAL,
OF AN ORDER OF DETERMINATION OF VESTED RIGHTS PROMULGATED
BY THE VESTED RIGHTS HEARING OFFICER PURSUANT TO THE VESTED
RIGHTS HEARING HELD ON NOVEMBER 21, 1996 IN RE: SCOTT
OROPEZA
WHEREAS, on January 4, 1996, the Monroe County Year 2010 Comprehensive Plan became
effective: and
WHEREAS, development applications "in the pipeline" as of January 4, 1996 are subject to a
determination of vested rights pursuant to Policy 101.18.1 of the Plan; and
WHEREAS, a hearing for determination of vested rights was held before the County's Vested
Rights Hearing Officer, Mr. Randy Sadtler, Esq., on November 21, 1996; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the hearing held on November 21, 1996, the Hearing Officer has
promulgated an Order for Determination of Vested Rights regarding Mr. Oropeza's application for
development in Monroe County; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA
that
Section 1. The Board hereby adopts this Resolution as evidence of its approval of the
Order of the Vested Rights Hearing Officer, promulgated pursuant to a Vested Rights Hearing held
on November 21, 1996 for the following development applicant: SCOTT OROPEZA.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a
regular meeting of the Board held on the16th day of April ,191 ~_ ~
