This Task Order is entered into on the effective date noted above pursuant to the "Master
Agreement for Professional Services" between Monroe County, Florida ("Client") and JACOBS
PROJECT MANAGEMENT CO. ("Consultant"), dated February 15, 2017 ("Agreement"). The
Agreement is incorporated herein and forms an integral part of this Task Order.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
Property Boundary Survey
The Florida Keys Marathon International Airport
Monroe County Airports
Jacobs Project Management Company will provide the services as outlined in the Fee schedule and in
Avirom&Associates, Inc. Scope of Services.
The Property Boundary Survey service includes but are not limited to the following tasks:
1) Coordination with Avirom&Associates,Inc.
2) Re-Tracement of Boundary Survey
3) Recover/Set Boundary Monumentation
4) Two Signed/Sealed Hard Copies of the Survey including an AutoCAD digital drawing file
5) Verification of Survey received by Avirom
6) Preparation/Delivery of Survey to Airport

Boundary Re-Tracement Survey. (Revision 1)
Dear Lasa:
Subsequent to your request,this proposal in accord with the following scope is submitted for your
consideration:

The survey limits shall be within the lands described in the Sketch and Description you provided
by O'Neal Surveying and Mapping, Inc., Job No. JAC170814 dated October 23, 2017 delineated
within the magenta area of Exhibit A shown below, incorporated herein for reference

Scope:
Re-Tracement of Boundary Survey:
A boundary re-tracement survey shall be performed and certified in accord with the Standards of
Practice, Chapter 5J-17, Florida Administrative Code, pursuant to Chapter 472, Florida Statutes.
This proposal includes the reviewing of the Ownership and Encumbrances Report you provided
by O'Neil Surveying and Mapping, Title Search No. MTH170814 listing easements and
encumbrances on the property.
We shall delineate all encumbrances and easements on our survey based on the above Title Search,
if plottable.

We shall recover or set the boundary monumentation based on the legal description described in
the provided Sketch and Description. Monuments that are set shall be encased in a 4-inch diameter
concrete collar.
We shall locate the existing fence along the perimeter of the boundary including any evidence of
encroachments comprised of approximately 18,487 linear feet (3.5 miles).
No interior improvements within the boundary survey shall be located. The location of interior
improvements shall be based on the planimetric drawing you provided by Martinez. This
information will be spatially placed within the digital file of the boundary survey, and will
seamlessly integrate with it.
Clarifications:
1. Client shall arrange for all access to the property. Delays caused by the inability to gain access
to the property at no fault of Avirom & Associates, Inc. may incur additional charges and/or
an adjusted delivery timeframe. Client shall be notified in the event of any excessive delays.
2. Requirements to the survey requested by governmental agencies that are more stringent than
Standards of Practice as set forth in Chapter 5J-17 FAC pursuant to Section 472 Florida
Statutes will be an additional expense to client based on our contracted hourly rates.
3. This proposal is based on mobilization by our crew from Boca Raton to service the project.
4. This proposal is based on the site being free and clear of storm debris. We will not move
obstacles to obtain survey data, or if field conditions are considered hazardous to the safety of
our crews.
5. These fees are valid until ninety(90) days from the date of this proposal.
Deliverables:
Two signed and sealed hard copies of the survey (including a PDF file of the hard copy) shall be
furnished to the client, together with an AutoCAD (2018 or lower) digital drawing file created in
Carlson 2018.
Timeframe:
We can mobilize to the site within two (2) weeks after a notice to proceed and have the project
completed within four(4) weeks after de-mobilization.
Fee:
The fee to perform the above services shall be based on a lump sum fee in the amount of
$18,100.00.

Additional services if required, not covered in the above scope will be provided on a time card
basis at our current hourly rates (see below)with a notice to proceed and approval from the client.
Expenses and materials will be billed at actual cost, with backups provided.
CURRENT HOURLY RATES
Professional Land Surveyor $175.00/Hour
Survey Field Crew (2 person) $150.00/Hour
GPS Field Crew w/GPS receiver $165.00/Hour
CADD Drafting $100.00/Hour
Our crews are provided per diem at $40.00 per person per overnight stay.
All rates are on a portal to portal basis. Overtime rates may apply after eight (8) working hours
and weekends. Invoicing is based on work-in-progress or section complete basis.
CONDITIONS:
All work shall be completed under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor registered in the
state of Florida. All work shall be conducted using equipment,personnel, and procedures that will
insure compliance with the accuracy standards as defined by State of Florida Standards of Practice
in Chapter 5J-17, FAC. All documents submitted shall bear the Surveyor's seal, signature, and a
certificate that all work was done under the Surveyor's supervision and that all information
contained in the document is true and is accurately shown. The Surveyor is responsible for quality
assurance for the survey work performed on this project. All survey information shall be recorded
in hard bound field books or in electronic data collector files.
