FOR HURRICANE IRMA DISASTER RECOVERY SERVICES TO ADD ESTIMATED COST THROUGH JULY 2019 In accordance with the contract for FEMA Public Assistance Consulting Services for Hurricane Disaster Recovery Services made and entered on the 29th day of November 2017 by and between Monroe County hereinafter referred to as the "County" and Adjusters International, Inc. hereinafter referred to as"Consultant" and as amended by Amendment 1 to the agreement dated May 16, 2018 and Amendment 2 dated September 19, 2018. WHEREAS,the Task Order dated November 29, 2017("Task Order") did not include a project cost estimate when approved by the County,therefore Amendment 1 to the Task Order dated September 19, 2018 was entered into to incorporate estimated cost for services to be performed by Consultant for services relating to Hurricane Irma as tasked by the County; and WHEREAS, now that the Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA) has conducted the required site visits documenting the County's damages to parks and facilities and work is underway in conjunction with the County's Project Management Department to accurately assess the permanent work required to repair and replace Hurricane Irma damaged elements, it is anticipated that the consultant's services will be needed through July 2019 and thus this Amendment adds estimated cost to cover the period from December 2018 to July 2019 in order for the Consultant to complete and finalize submission of the remaining projects and continue coordination and management with FEMA and Florida Department of Emergency Management(FDEM) of approved projects as needed; and WHEREAS,the County has elected to participate in the FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Pilot Program policy entitled Public Assistance Alternative Procedure for Direct Administrative Costs(DAC), which allows for a total of 5%of the total eligible project costs based on Project Worksheets (PWs)to be used for DAC; and WHEREAS, most of the services provided by Consultant are project specific and eligible as DAC and therefore will be submitted to FEMA for reimbursement; and NOW,THEREFORE,the Amended Task Order dated September 19, 2018 is amended as follows: 1.
