PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING SERVICES
BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY
AND
AMEC FOSTER WHEELER ENVIRONMENTAL AND INFRASTRUCTURE, INC.
FOR
MCSO ADMINISTRATION BUILDING WINDOW REPLACEMENT DESIGN
In accordance with the Agreement for Continuing Professional Engineering and Surveying
Services("Professional Services Agreement"), made and entered into on March 18, 2015,
and as amended on January 18, 2017, between MONROE COUNTY, ("County") and
AMEC FOSTER WHEELER ENVIRONMENTAL AND INFRASRUCTURE, INC.
("AMEC" or "Consultant") where professional services are allowed if construction costs
do not exceed$2,000,000.00.
All terms and conditions of the Professional Services Agreement apply to this Task Order,
unless the Task Order modifies an Article of the Professional Services Agreement of which
will be specifically referenced in this Task Order and the modification shall be precisely
described. These additions apply only to the MCSO ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
WINDOW REPLACEMENT DESIGN project referenced in this Task Order.
"Phis Task Order is effective on the day of 3%A 2017.
SCOPE OF WORK
Consultant will furnish the personnel, services, equipment, materials, and other
requirements necessary to conduct design and construction documents to remove and
replace the existing exterior windows on the Monroe County Sheriff's Administration
Building.
Consultant will analyze the existing as-built information provided by the County and
conduct a Kick-Off meeting with the County and key maintenance personnel. Consultant
will observe the type and general conditions of the windows to determine scope of work
and construction details.
Consultant will coordinate with County personnel to select a new window system.
Consultant will observe the types and conditions of the windows and visible deficiencies,
Consultant will identify wall types that will be affected by the window replacement work.
REQUIREMENTS
l. County will provide complete as-built drawings.
2. Consultant will mobilize within two weeks of County issued approval to proceed.
3. Consultant will provide construction documents b weeks after kickoff meeting,
4. Consultant will meet with the County project management personnel at least once,
DELIVERABLES
Provide five (5) complete sets of signed sealed construction documents including all full
sized plans and specification books.Construction documents include demolition plan,floor
plans, elevations details, wind load calculations,Notice of Acceptance(NOA)and Florida

Product Approvals, specifications of the building components being replaced, and cost
estimate.
SITE VISIT
Consultant will conduct one(1) site visit. Consultant will coordinate the site visit with the
County's project manager.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
In accordance with Article III of the Professional Services Agreement, any fee for
Additional Services shall be negotiated at the time when services are required.The County
shall describe in writing the requested additional service(s)to the Consultant.
j COUNTY RESPONSIBILITY
The County's responsibility is outlined in Article IV of the Professional Services
Agreement.
COMPENSATION
In accordance with Article VIl of the Professional Services Agreement, the County shall
pay the Consultant in current funds a lump sum fee of Forty Two Thousand Eight Hundred
Thirty Seven Dollars and 00/100 ($42,837.00) billed monthly on a percentage complete
basis.
REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES
Article 7.3.1 of the Professional Services Agreement shall be revised to allow reimbursable
expenses as follows:
If additional signed and scaled sets are requested by the County in excess of the five
included above, Consultant shall be paid$2.00 for every 12"x 18"plot, $2.20 for every
24"x 36"plot, $3.00 for every 15" x 21"plot, $3.20 for every 30"x 42"plot, and $0.25
for every 8-1/2"x 11"print.
All other terms and conditions of this Task Order are in accordance with the March 18,
2015 Professional Services Agreement and as amended on January 18,2017,
