ITEM BACKGROUND: WSP is assisting in the review of deliverables provided by the County's mobile LiDAR vendor MBL The submission of the mobile LiDAR data from the vendor was delayed. A final more extensive review of the survey data was requested by the County. The original amendment No. 3 approved at the May 22, 2019 BOCC meeting is being rescinded as it was missing an attachment. This revised Amendment 3 replaces it and also authorizes additional time through the end of June to complete all work and submit a final report to the County on the quality of the LiDAR data provided by MBI. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: 08/17/16: Authorize a contract with Parsons Engineering, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $33,680.00 to provide professional consulting services to assist the County with evaluating our LiDAR elevation data mapping needs and preparing a solicitation for LiDAR elevation data. 08/16/2017: Authorize entering an amendment No. 1 to a contract with Parsons Engineering, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $22,235 to provide additional professional consulting services to assist the County with technical negotiations of the mobile LiDAR services contract and to review the survey data to be provided by the LiDAR vendor. 01/23/2019: Authorize entering an amendment No. 2 to a contract with WSP USA, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $22,235 to provide additional professional consulting services to assist the County with technical review of the survey data being provided by the LiDAR vendor. 05/22/2019 (Being rescinded) Authorize entering an amendment No. 3 to a contract with WSP USA, Packet Pg. 1322 N.3 Inc. in an amount not to exceed $5,000 to provide additional time and professional consulting services to assist the County with technical review of the survey data provided by the LiDAR vendor; retroactive to April 1, 2019 and extending through May 30, 2019. WSP has previously provided assistance the mobile LiDAR project and review of the early delivery data that the County is currently receiving.
