Detailed description of change order and justification
The reduction in price(43,500001 is due to the county removing the requirement of Builders Risk
Insurance from the contract
The increased scope of work includes re-panting and brick replacement at the West Martello due to
available funding from TDC DAC 1 grant funding and Project Management recommends adding Priority 3&
Priority 4 scope of work to this current contract Plus S317.006.00(Net Change is+S313,306.00

Once I get you revised schedule of values, I will also write up the change order for the credit for Builders Risk, send it to
you for signature and submit it and attach this email and see if this is acceptable.Our Contract Manager thinks it will be
so we will see what happens.
Also if I can get a proposal and break out pricing for Priority 3 and Priority 4 so I can go over with my Director to see if we
can come to terms to add that into this contract. I will need to get it on the agenda for our Board of County
Commissioners approval at the August meeting, and my deadline is August 6, 2019. Please let me know if you are
interested in this and I also have had conversations with Mike on site.

Hope all is going well with the mobilization and project commencement in Key West!
Pursuant to your below request for Builders Risk back up. Not sure we can provide that other than this was the amount
we had carried as an allowance within our estimate.While attempting to acquire a BR Policy once we were awarded the
project it was determined that the Builders Risk Insurance was not applicable to this type of structure and couldn't be
provided.Therefore, I am certain we couldn't even acquire a formal proposal and or cost for such a policy at this time
for this type of structure.
Please confirm the above is sufficient.
I will also provide additional breakdown of the monthly GCs as requested. Most of these expenditures will be monthly in
nature i.e. accommodations, travel expenses, per diem allowances, management costs.

performed and paid for by others.
4. CSI—SE would not be responsible for embedded utilities unless clearly marked drawings or details are provided
