We would like to participate in Monroe County's Less Than Fee Program. We own a house on Lot 29, Sugarloaf Shores Plat No. 2 Section C and we also own the adjoining lot described as Lot 30, Sugarloaf Shores Plat No. 2 Section C. It is our understanding that pursuant to Monroe County Resolution 438-2018, Lot 30 qualifies for the Less than Fee Program and that Monroe County could pay$99,999 to purchase and retire the right to build a residential unit on the lot. The Monroe County Property Appraiser has placed the market land value at$138,000 as of August 21, 2019. Instead of selling the residential building right on Lot 30, we are offering to donate the right provided the transaction closes in 2019 and Monroe County acknowledges receipt of the donation on IRS form 8283.
