WHEREAS, on the 20th day of November 2018, the parties executed a contract authorizing the Consultant to perform Professional Services for the Engineering, Design and Permitting Services for the Sea Level Rise Roadway and Drainage Pilot Project,for an estimated not to exceed amount of$517,518.04; and WHEREAS,the County requires additional topographic and boundary surveying services for utilization of the lot purchased by the County to be used for pump station infrastructure; RE Number 00302870-000000, Avenue C and Father Tony Way, Big Pine Key; WHEREAS, WSP USA, inc. is providing this service through a subconsultant Longitude Surveyors through Amendment 1 to the Agreement with Monroe County; and NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, the COUNTY and CONSULTANT agree to amend Article VII, Compensation, Paragraph 7.1.1 of the contract, as follows: Add subconsultant survey scope as defined in"Attachment A"for the Lump Sum Amount of$7,500.00 Previous Contract Amount $517,518.04 Original Survey Scope provided by Longitude Surveyors $54,000.00 Additional Survey Scope provided by Longitude Surveyors $ 7.500.00 Total Revised Longitude Surveyors Amount $61,500.00 Total Revised Contract Amount $525,018.04 In all other respects,the Contract approved at the September 19, 2018, BOCC meeting remains in full force and effect. Scope of Work(SOW): Longitude Surveyors will perform Topographic and Boundary Surveying services to include the following: • LS will establish horizontal and vertical control.Horizontal control will be georeferenced to the State Plane Coordinate System (Florida East Zone NAD 83/2011).Vertical control will be referenced to NAVD 1988 Datum,unless otherwise specified by Client prior to Notice to Proceed (NTP) • LS will do the necessary due diligence/record research on existing monuments and surveying records to establish the boundary and right-of-way limits for the subject project,within the area outlined on the attached Exhibit A • LS will collect all above-ground improvements within the Survey limits such as,but not limited to:electric infrastructure(poles, street lighting,power and telecommunication poles and/or cabinets,etc.),sidewalks,walkways,fencing,signs,lights,any above-ground utilities,fire hydrants,valves,edge of pavement. • Longitude will locate all trees with a 3-inch diameter trunk or larger. Vegetation lines shall also be located. • LS will provide a graphical baseline within project limits,continuous of the original Big Pine BL prepared previously by LS. • LS will label the ground material(asphalt,sod,concrete,etc.) on the Survey. • LS will collect elevations equivalent to a 50-foot grid,within Survey limits • LS will extract and edit a DTM within the Survey limits • LS will provide the following for all drainage structures and sanitary sewer manholes:rim elevations,invert elevations,Invert direction,size,and bottom of structure elevations,provided the structures are clear of debris. • LS will locate existing driveways within the limits of the Survey and identify type of driveway pavement(i.e.asphalt,concrete, pavers,etc. • B. Survey limits: -- The area delineated in red on Exhibit A as per attached. C. Deliverables: LS will provide Survey in AutoCAD Version 2018 and pdf of plan sheets.If CADD files are needed in a different version,Client must indicate/notify LS in writing before the Kick-Off Meeting or Notice to Proceed(NTP). Format,sheet size and scale of drawings will also be defined at Kick-Off Meeting.Change of scale after NTP are not considered as part of this SOW (Scope of Work) and will be charged a separate fee if additional work is required. LS will also provide a certified signed and sealed hard copy of the Survey. D. Fee: The professional fee to complete this task shall be a lump sum of $7,500.00. Please note the area of Survey where pump station is to be located is assumed to be clear of hurricane debris and it is readily available to be Surveyed.(No budget has been estimated for clearing the area). E. Schedule: Longitude has estimated (13) business days to complete this task.NTP is considered effective on the fifth (5th) business day after signing/approving this Proposal.
