Utilities Corp. (KWRU).
ITEM BACKGROUND: In August 2018 (item Q.7), the Board directed the County Attorney's
office and County staff to research and provide a report to the Board concerning the possible
purchase of KWRU by the County or Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority and possible ways in which
financing could be used for the purchase.
The purpose of this agenda item is for the County Attorney's Office and Assistant County
Administrator Kevin Wilson to provide a report on the status of the research thus far.
