Brief summary as to your qualifications to serve on this committee:
Currently serving as vice president of DAC 111, 1 have been on the DAC III board for
three years and would welcome the opportunity to continue to serve. I have always felt it
was important to volunteer before I came to the Keys, but understand why it is even more
important here than in other communities where I've lived and worked.
Volunteers organize all of these Keys events and without their participation these events
would not be successful. That is why I volunteer for as many as I can. Over the last
three years I have volunteered for Marathon Seafood Festival, National Pig Day, Eco
Week, GLEE, Conchtoberfest, Florida Keys Traditional Music Festival and Pigeon Keys
Art Festival — all in DAC Ill. I also volunteer for many more supported by community
volunteers in other DACs. I feel these events are an important part of the total Keys
vacation experience as well as being important for local residents, who enjoy the
diversity of entertainment, information and fun these events provide to those of us who
live and work here. I take my duties serving on DAC III very seriously, and feel I have
done a good job at fulfilling my at -large roll on the advisory committee. Ihope that lcan
continue to serve,
