Home My WebLink About1. 1st Task Order 11/04/2019 TASK ORDER #1 FOR CATEGORY B ON CALL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR CANAL RESTORATION SERVICES BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY AND TETRA TECH, INC. FOR CANAL #266 CEI SERVICES IN BIG PINE KEY, MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA In accordance with the Continuing Contract for On Call Professional Engineering Services made and entered on the 121" Day of April, 2017 between Monroe County, hereinafter referred to as the "County" and Tetra Tech, Inc. hereinafter referred to as "Consultant" where design services are allowed if construction costs do not exceed $2,000,000. All terms and conditions of the referenced Contract for On Call Professional Engineering Services apply to the Task Order, unless the Task Order modifies an Article of the Agreement of which will be specifically referenced in this Task Order and the modification shall be precisely described. This Task Order is effective upon execution and shall expire 60 days after the final deliverable to the County is submitted. Article II Scope of Basic Services, Paragraph 2.1.1 is amended as follows: Task 1: Site Inspections: The Consultant will provide up to six hours daily site inspections for up to 30 working days of the construction schedule Monday through Saturday, as directed by Monroe County. The Consultant shall provide field construction inspection activities and prepare daily work reports showing contractor's activities, equipment, maintenance of traffic and environmental compliance. The environmental compliance activities include daily turbidity readings outside the turbidity curtains to ensure 0 NTU exceedances and T&E species monitoring. Task 2: Construction Administration: The Consultant will provide consultation and advice to County regarding the Contractor's performance of the Contract. The Consultant will liaise with the County, homeowners, and other stakeholders as necessary to administer the construction contract through the project completion date. The Consultant shall hold weekly conference call meetings with the County and Contractor to discuss project status. The Consultant shall be responsible for attending a pre-construction meeting and submitting permit construction commencement notifications. The Consultant shall provide final as-builts (provided by the Contractor) certification documentation to the agencies upon completion. The Consultant shall prepare a detailed report upon completion of construction outlining the construction activities and information detailing successful completion of the project. The total for services to be paid under this Task Order will be a lump sum amount of Twenty Nine Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Four Dollars ($29,464.00). Payments shall be made upon completion of each task in accordance with Consultants Proposal, Exhibit A". No additional travel or other expenses shall be authorized. The cost estimate includes a detailed cost spreadsheet which provides details of the labor and expense by task and our intended approach.This project shall be performed on a Lump Sum basis per the requirements of FEMA and has been prepared on the assumption that the projects duration our field representative will be on-site for up to 30 working days.
