RESOLUTION NO. P-l
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, was granted authority by Chapter 59-1576, Laws of Florida, 1959,
to establish building, plumbing and electrical codes in the unincorporated
area of Monroe County, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said Board desires to adopt and enforce electrical,
plumbing and building codes necessary for the accomplishment of the pur-
poses of said law, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That Chapter VIII of the Sanitary Code of the State of Florida as
adopted April 8, 1956, by the State Board of Health of the State of Florida,
with additional Sections 16, 17 and 18. all of which are attached hereto and
made a part hereof. be and the same are hereby adopted as the "PLUMBING
CODE FOR MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA" and shall become effective within
all of Monroe County, Florida, except that portion of said County that may be
included in any municipality.
