ITEM BACKGROUND: Spay and Neuter In Paradise (SNIP)was founded in 2012 to prevent uncontrolled populations of domestic and feral animals in the Florida Keys. There is high demand for the spaying and neutering of cats and dogs, whether rescued, abandoned, or feral. They have performed 6,141 surgeries to date, including 2, 616 dogs, 3,487 cats and 38 rabbits. These surgeries were performed with a combination of funds through donations and grants.
