AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval to advertise a Public Hearing for a Budget Amendment
for the MSD Solid Waste, Fund 414.
ITEM BACKGROUND: The MSD Solid Waste Fund was reimbursed $1,425,593.19 in
November (FY20) for Hurricane Irma expenses. The receivable was recorded on the financial
statements in FYI 9. This reimbursement will be used to repay the Hurricane Loan. The FY20 budget
for fund 414 needs to be amended in order to make the transfer for the debt service payment.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
On September 18, 2019, the BOCC approved the FY20 Operating and Capital Project Budget.
