County Line and any Mainland portions of Monroe County

Brietsummary as to your gualifications to serve on this committee:
Qualifications:
I have been a full time resident of the Upper Keys for entire adult life. I have a strong love and pride of the Keys, as well as
concern for it's protection and it's future. I volunteer for the organizations 1 do because they also are community minded and work
to protect the best of the Keys..
Work experience:
Jon's A.C.: Half owner, responsible for all paperwork and recording keeping, receivables, payables, payroll, budgeting,taxes,
etc. Jon liked to say he had the trucks,the tools, the employees, and I was responsible for everything else.
US Post Office: Started out as a clerk,then a letter carrier,then both at once.Went into supervision and covered Supervisor
and Postmaster positions in the Keys and in Miami. Levels EAS 15 to 22.
Ocean Reef Mailroom; Pretty much same as the post office. Set it up exactly like a real post office and because of my
experience in the post office they awarded us an official date stamper to be able to officially register and certify documents in the
name of the US Post Office(unheard of at that time).
All that aside I believe my best qualification to serve on this committee is my previous service on the DAC V board. I have
teamed to read every application very carefully and thoroughly. To do my own research, check all kinds of sources„ and' 0.
resources.Always making sure that the project is good for the Keys and it's residents, and that the project will be successful and
return tourist money back to the coffers to be used in another event.
My favorite part of this is:
The whole idea of having tourists pay for advertising for tourism to the Keys is brilliant!And I love it when it works.
