The architect as well as the owner was unaware of the sanitary line location because of no as- built document on record with the county. The relocation was a requirement of the building department and the Village of Islamorada. • This change in the contract plans and specifications is not considered an error or omission of the design document. Roberts County Administrator DATE: 2/25/99 SUBJECT: Change Orders AAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Attached is a proposed change order for the Plantation Key Detention Facility project. This has been recommended by all appropriate staff and submitted to the Administrator for approval. According to ordinance adopted by the Board of County Commissioners, proposed change orders are to be presented to members of the Board prior to approval, assuming they are within the Administrator's prescribed limits. Change orders not within the Administrator's authority are placed on the BOCC agenda. The Administrator intents to approve this change order on Friday, February 26, 1999. James L. Roberts JLR:dlf
