The original scope of the work was $440,000, however,the court has made changes and we arc prepared to pay the difference_ Currently,the change order is for the flooring is $165.346.65. and it includes the scope of the granite toilet partitions,but does not include the credit,which is $29,798.65. It also does not include the hardware or doors for the toilet partitions. The Tower Group is currently seeking prices for these items and the Court wilt pay for tbern as well. The change order for the laminate countertop in lieu of granite is $3,447.41, and the Court will also pay for that change. I would have preferred to wait until the exact cost of everything was final before asking for your approval on the change orders, however, time is of the essence. It is my understanding that the elevator sills need to be set and the the needs to be ordered as soon as possible, so not to delay the project any further. The Court will use the existing Courthouse Facilities budget to field these change orders,and therefore there will be no additional cost to the Capital Fund.
