These changes were needed to: 1)Resolve incompatibility issues between the security components specified with the door hardware(Division 08)and the comprehensive building security system specified in Division 16, and 2) Increase the scope of security as requested by the Monroe County Judiciary and Sheriffs Department. The cost of the additional work is based on the attached November 8,2005 Patrick Power Corporation Proposal, and the total value of COR 119 is$23,822.23, including Contractor's mark-up for managing the work. COR#9 only addresses the costs for the re-designing phase of the described security changes. The additional time for the re-designing phase and the additional time and costs to implement these changes will be submitted under a separate COR.
