AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval to re-appoint Ms. Mamie Walterson, layperson, to one
additional three-year term to the Contractors' Examining Board (CEB) beginning June 17th, 2020
thru June 17th 2023.
ITEM BACKGROUND: The Contractors Examining Board(CEB)voted unanimously to
recommend the re-appointment of Ms. Mamie Walterson, layperson, to the CEB at the March 1 Otn
2020 meeting as a regular voting member.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: Ms. Walterson was appointed to the Board on
June 22, 2017 to one(1) three-year (3) term ending June 22, 2020.
*On March 21, 2007, the BOCC approved advertising the amendment to MCC Section 6-85
repealing term limits for members of the CEB. The ordinance was amended effective May 2,
2007 removing term limitations. Per MCC6-264.(a), regular voting members and two alternate
voting members are appointed by the Board of County Commission (BOCC).
