Causley, Inc. as Interim Building Official, under the direction of the Division of Growth Management. ITEM BACKGROUND: Jerry Smith, Building Official has resigned as of June 27, 2014. The county has contracted MT Causley to fulfill on-call, as needed permitting, inspections, and Plan Review Services. Part of the contract includes Building Official Services at a cost of$72.50 per hour. Monroe County Code Section 6-55 indicates the County Administrator with the approval of the Board of County Commissioners shall designate the Building Official.
