I have lived in the Florida Keys for 26 years,8 years in Key West and 18 in Islamorada. The majority of this time I worked in
tourist related industries including tour company, marinas, cruise ship related, and lodging. These experiences in Loth areas of
our county have given me a good perspective of the importance of tourism to the overall economy of our Florida Keys
communities. I am now in a position of employment that is not tourist related. However, I realize the importance of tourism to
support my clients and potential clients and the impact of their success on all other businesses in the County.
I have 10 years experience holding a Lodging seat in DAC IV which I resigned when I changed)jobs to my current non-lodging
position.
I would like very much to serve on the committee that evaluates the marketing options of the Islamorada District and makes the
recommendations for marketing and advertising of our District to the TDC and ultimately the Hoard of County Commissioners.
