Shortly thereafter in May of 2005,she was promoted into the position of Executive Administrator where she became the left AND right arms to the County Administrator and Deputy County Administrator. It didn't take her long as she then realized what her title of Executive Administrator really entailed. Not only did she report to the County Administrator and Deputy County Administrator, she also reports to the Board of County Commissioners, oh sorry, the word "reports"just doesn't surmise it. Connie gathers and prepares every agenda for the Commissioners' meetings, making sure they receive all the necessary paperwork associated with the meetings by the deadlines and answers tons of questions from both staff and the public once the agenda is posted. Needless to say,she hardly takes vacation time as her position responsibilities are surrounded by deadlines and her work product is her first priority. During Connie's ten years of service,in 2006,she was tremendously helpful in assisting victims of Hurricane Wilma with their needs and questions of those who contacted our office in need of help. In 2007,she held an active role in the Knowledge Based Leadership (KBL) activity and, Connie was a key participant who made the Annual Southeast Florida Regional Climate Leadership Summit held in Key Largo such a success. We are all grateful to have Connie on our team, congratulations to ten years of service! Monroe County can only hope for many more years of your dedicated service.
