UNDER THE SEA LEVEL RISE VULNERABILITY ANALYSIS AND PLANNING
FOR COUNTY MAINTAINED ROADS
INFRASTRUCTURE ADAPTATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
MONROE COUNTY AND
HDR ENGINEERING, INC.
In accordance with the Agreement for Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Analysis and
Planning for County Maintained Roads Infrastructure Adaptation Services made
and entered on the 22r'd day of May 2019 between Monroe County, hereinafter
referred to as the "County" and HDR Engineering, Inc. hereinafter referred to as
"Consultant".
All terms and conditions of the referenced Contract for Sea Level Rise
Vulnerability Analysis and Planning For County Maintained Roads Infrastructure
Adaptation Services apply to the Task Order, unless the Task Order modifies an
Article of the Agreement of which will be specifically referenced in this Task
Order and the modification shall be precisely described.
WHEREAS, the Consultant's scope stipulated that additional outreach activities
(meetings/workshops/briefings) to specific groups outside of the major mile stone
date would be conducted under Optional Services; and
WHEREAS, the County is coordinating with the United States Army Corps of
Engineers (USACE) and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)
District 6 (D6) on the Coastal Risk Management Study; and
WHEREAS, the Consultant will assist the County on the ongoing Coastal Risk
Management Study and review data, milestones, resulting projects and
outreach as necessary; and
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises, covenants and
agreements stated herein, and for other good and valuable consideration, the
sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, COUNTY and CONSULTANT
agree to modify the Agreement as follows:
Article 1.1 Terms Of Agreement:
This task order will be effective as of September 11, 2019 and shall no later than
September 21, 2021.
Article 2.2 Scope of Services:

The Consultant will coordinate with USACE and FDOT 06 as needed. This Task
is necessary to provide support services to the County to interface with the
USACE on the Coastal Risk Management Study and FDOT D6 as needed.
Article 7.1 Payment Sum: The amount of the task order is a Lump Sum of Nine
Th us nd One Hundred and Eighty-Three Dollars and Si ents 9 1 3.60 .
Tasks will be completed-over approximately 7 months. Tasks shall include, but
not be limited to, conference calls, review of documents, presentation materials
and graphics, attendance at meetings and program management calls initiated
by the Corps of Engineers.
Deliverables and Payment Schedule: Each month will include a written email
summary/report of the activitiesjfor the previous 4 weeks as follows:
