RESOLUTION NO. 34-1960
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, has been petitioned to renounce and disclaim any right of the County
and the public in and to the hereinafter described street, alley-way, road or
highway as delineated on the hereinafter described plat or map, and
WHEREAS, under Chapter 336, Florida Statutes 1955, it is necessary
to hold a public hearing after publishing due notice of said hearing in accord-
ance with said Chapter, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that at 8:00 o'clock P. M. , on Tuesday, the
5th day of July, 1960, said Board will hold a public hearing to determine
whether or not said Board will renounce and disclaim any right of the County
and the public in and to the following described street, alley-way, road or
highway:
That part of Catherine Street according to the Plat of
Matecumbe Beach recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 133,
Monroe County, Florida, being more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot 8, Block 4
according to said Plat of Matecumbe Beach, run north-
easterly along the southeasterly side of Lots 8, 9, 10,
11, 12, 13 and 14 of said Block 4, a total distance from
the point of beginning of 384 feet to the most easterly
corner of Lot 14 of said Block 4; thence at right angles
in a southeasterly direction, a distance of 60 feet to the
southeasterly side of Catherine Street; thence south-
westerly along the southeasterly side of Catherine Street,
a distance of 384 feet; thence at right angles in a north-
westerly direction, a distance of 60 feet to the point of
beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be and he is hereby ordered to publish notice of said meeting in ac-
cordance with the provisions of Chapter 336, Florida Statutes 1955.
