to remove one (1) stop at the request of the Department of Health.
ITEM BACKGROUND: The Department of Health has requested to remove the courier stop at
Juvenile Justice Building.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
On August 19th, 2020 the BOCC granted approval of Addendum No. 7 to add one additional
delivery for Road and Bridges on Rockland Key Department Stop 49C.
On March 21, 2019 the BOCC granted approval of Amendment 6 to extend the agreement to March
15, 2021 and adjust the contract amount in accordance with the U.S. Department of Commerce
Consumer Price Index (CPI-U).
On April 19, 2018 the BOCC granted approval of Addendum No. 5 to adjust the contract amount in
accordance with the U.S. Department of Commerce Consumer Price Index (CPI-U).
On March 15, 2017 the BOCC granted approval of Amendment 4 to extend the agreement to March
15, 2019 and adjust the contract amount in accordance with the U.S. Department of Commerce
Consumer Price Index (CPI-U).
On November 22nd, 2016 the BOCC granted approval of Addendum No. 3 to add one additional
delivery for the Public Works and Engineering, 300 Magnolia, Key Largo 431.
On August 16th, 2016 the BOCC granted approval of Addendum No. 2 to remove one delivery for
the Department of Health, Roosevelt Sands Center, Key West 42B.
On July 20th, 2016 the BOCC granted approval of Addendum No. 1 to add one additional delivery
for the Tax Collector on Big Pine Key 41 OC.

ADDENDUM NO. 8
THIS ADDENDUM is entered into this 17th day of November 2020, between the Monroe
County Board of County Commissioners (COUNTY) and Buccaneer Courier(Buccaneer) in
order to amend the Agreement between the parties dated March 18, 2015 as follows:
1. Removal of one (1) delivery and pick-up for the Department of Health, 5503 College
Road, Key West, FL. 33040 (Rockland Key), Stop 49B.
2. This addendum shall be retroactively effective to July 1, 2020.
3. In all other respects, the Agreement entered March 18, 2015, as amended, shall remain .E

FIRST RENEWAL AND AMENDMENT 4 TO AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 15th day of March 2017, A.D., by and
between MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, (hereinafter sometimes called the "County"
or"owner"), and Buccaneer Courier, (hereinafter called the "Contractor").
WHEREAS, on March 18`h, 2015, the parties entered into a two (2) year agreement for
courier services for Monroe County, commencing on the 161h day of March, 2015 and
ending on the 151h day of March, 2017. The County has an option of renewing this
contract for two (2) additional two (2) year terms; and E
WHEREAS,the contract agreement expires on March 15`h, 2017 and both parties desire
to renew the original agreement for two additional years; this being the first renewal, and
WHEREAS,the contract provides for a Consumer Price Index (CPI) adjustment and this
amendment now includes the CPI adjustment that was previously applied;
NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual promises contained
herein, the parties hereby agree to renew the existing agreement as follows:
1. In accordance with Paragraph 4 of the 2015 agreement, the County exercises the
option to amend the agreement and the amount shall be adjusted in accordance
annually with the percentage change in the U.S. Department of Commerce
Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) for all Urban Consumers as reported by the U.S.
Bureau of Labor Statistics for the most recent twelve months available ending
March 31 of.9%. This CPI-U adjustment shall be retroactively approved to i
March 16, 2016.
2. In accordance with Paragraph 4 of the 2015 agreement, the County exercises the
option to amend the agreement and the amount shall be adjusted in accordance
annually with the percentage change in the U.S. Department of Commerce
Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) for all Urban Consumers as reported by the U.S. n
Bureau of Labor Statistics for the most recent twelve months available ending r
December 31 of 2.111'0. This CPI-U adjustment shall be effective March 16, 2017.

3. In accordance with Paragraph 4 of the 2015 agreement, the County hereby
exercises its option to renew the agreement for an additional two-year term

THIS ADDENDUM is entered into this 19th day of April,2018, between the Monroe County
Board of County Commissioners (COUNTY) and Buccaneer Courier(Buccaneer) :
WHEREAS, on March 18th, 2015, the parties entered into a two (2) year agreement for
courier services for Monroe County, commencing on the March 16, 2015 and ending March
15, 2017(Agreement); and
WHEREAS,the Agreement was amended by Addendum 1 to add an additional delivery and
pick-up for the Tax Collector at 201 Key Deer Blvd. Unit 416, Big Pine Key; by Addendum 2
to remove a delivery and pick for the Department of Health, at Roosevelt Sands Center on
Olivia Street, Key West and by Addendum 3 to add an additional delivery and pick-up for the
Public Works and Engineering Departments at 300 Magnolia Street, Key Largo; and
WHEREAS, the First Renewal and Amendment 4 to the Agreement dated March 15, 2017
extended the agreement to March 15, 2019 and also adjusted the contract amount in
accordance with the U.S. Department of Commerce Consumer Price Index for all Urban
Consumers (CPI-U); and e
WHEREAS,the Agreement provides for an annual CPI adjustment which will be applied;
NOW, THEREFORE,IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual promises contained herein,the
parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
1. In accordance with Paragraph 1.04(B.) of the Agreement, the County hereby adjusts
the contract amount in accordance with the percentage change in the U.S. Department
of Commerce Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) for all Urban Consumers as reported by
the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics for the most recent twelve months available ending
December 31 of 2.1%. e
2. This CPI-U adjustment shall be retroactively approved to March 16, 2018.
3. In all other respects,the Agreement dated March 18, 2015, as amended, shall remain
in full force and effect. co

COURIER SERVICE AGREEMENT
SECOND RENEWAL AND AMENDMENT NO. 6

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this'day of March 2019, A.D., by and
between MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, (hereinafter called the"County" ), and Buccaneer
Courier, (hereinafter called the"Contractor").
WHEREAS, on March 18th, 2015, the parties entered into a two (2) year agreement for
courier services for Monroe County("Agreement"), commencing on the 16th day of March,
2015 and ending on the 15th day of March, 2017 which provided the County an option of
renewing the Agreement for two (2) additional two (2)year terms; and
WHEREAS,the Agreement was amended by Addendum 1 to add an additional delivery and
pick-up for the Tax Collector at 201 Key Deer Blvd. Unit#16, Big Pine Key; by Addendum 2
to remove a delivery and pick for the Department of Health, at Roosevelt Sands Center on
Olivia Street,Key West; by Addendum 3 to add an additional delivery and pick-up for the
_Public Works and Engineering Departments at 300 Magnolia Street,Key Largo and_
Addendum 5 to adjust the contract amount in accordance with the U.S. Department of
Commerce Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers (CPI-U); and
WHEREAS,the First Renewal and Amendment 4 to the Agreement dated March 15, 2017
extended the agreement to March 15, 2019 and also adjusted the contract amount in
accordance with the U.S. Department of Commerce Consumer Price Index for all Urban W
Consumers (CPI-U); and
WHEREAS, the Agreement expires on March 15th, 2019 and both parties desire to renew the
Agreement for two additional years, this being the second renewal option, and apply an
annual CPI adjustment as allowed under the Agreement; i
NOW, THEREFORE,IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual promises contained herein,the c
parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
1. In accordance with Paragraph 1.04(B.) of the Agreement, the County hereby adjusts
the contract amount in accordance with the percentage change in the U.S. Department
of Commerce Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) for all Urban Consumers as reported by
the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics for the most recent_twelve months available ending
December 31 of 1.9%.
2. This CPI-U adjustment shall be retroactively approved to March 16, 2019.
3. In accordance with Paragraph 4 of the 2015 agreement,the County hereby exercises
its option to renew the agreement for an additional two-year term beginning March 15, E
2019 and ending March 15, 2021.
4. In all other respects,the Agreement dated March 18, 2015, as amended, shall remain
in full force and effect.
