SUBJECT: Proposed Change Order to be Approved
Attached is proposed Change order 91 for the Gato Building Roof Replacement project. This change
order increases the final contract sum by $8,683.50. The substantial completion date is increased 90
days to February 28, 2021.
Monroe County Ordinance 027-1998 and subsequent amendments provide authority for the
Administrator to approve change orders within specified limits after providing Board of County
Commissioners with at least 24 hours to review them and pose any questions or objections that they may
have.
It is the Administrator's intent to approve the attached change order under that authority on Thursday,
December 17, 2020.

Detailed description of change order and justification:
The increase of this Change Order is for additional work re aired to be performed on the existing electrical
conduit which is attached to the roof for the operation of the Gato Building elevator. In order to comDlete the
rooLg work, electrical conduit used for the elevator must be dismantled and relocated. The original
substantial coLnpletion date was November 30, 2020. Due to an eMected delaZ of getting the subcontractor
onsite, the substantial completion date is being extended for 90 daLs.
