BOARD OF GOVERNORS AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval of a resolution of the Board of Governors of Fire and Ambulance District 1 (BOG) electing the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the BOG for 2021, as required by Ordinance No. 045-1988. ITEM BACKGROUND: The Board of Governors of Fire and Ambulance District 1 (BOG) Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson are elected annually. Consequently, the BOG must elect a Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson for 2021. At this meeting, the Board of County Commissioners will also be designating, by resolution, the three (3) County Commissioners to serve on the BOG for 2021 representing the County Commission. Adoption of this resolution by the Board of Governors satisfies the requirements for the annual election of the Chairperson & Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Governors as set forth in Ordinance No. 045-1988.
