ITEM BACKGROUND: Sealed bids were opened on September 28, 2011; The Hertz Corporation was the only respondent with a bid amount of $103,000 annual lease (plus sales tax) for both parcels in what is commonly referred to as `The Teen Center' property at the Airport. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: April 15, 2009 - Approval to advertise RFP for Rental Car activities at the Teen Center property; April 21, 2010 — Approval to re -bid the "Car Rental Preparation Activities Area" Request for Proposals, and reject the bid received for rental car activities at the Teen Center.
