This will be a lease contract agreement with Advanced Modular Space, Incorporated for temporary office trailers (one 24'x60' overall office), for amount of$ 141,763.00 over the period of five (5)years. ITEM BACKGROUND: The Roads and Bridges, Fleet, and Facilities Maintenance Departments all currently operate on Key West Airport property. The airport master plan requires that these departments all vacate their current location. All departments are in the process of moving into temporary buildings and locations while a permanent site is developed. The attached quote for a lease from Advanced Modular Space, Inc is for temporary facilities to be used by the Facilities department. The services that Advanced Modular Space, Inc has presented to the county includes GSA Contract pricing and is in accordance with our cooperative purchasing provisions on the Purchasing Policy. Pursuant to the Monroe County Purchasing Policy, Chapter 7. Exclusions C. Cooperative Purchasing purchases equal to $50,000.00 or more from vendors holding current "State" and General Services Administration herein after ("GSA") contracts are exempt from the competitive bidding process. The Policy also allows for purchasing under cooperative purchasing ventures run by other units of governments when the best interests of the County are served. The General Services Administration (GSA) contract falls under this provision in the Policy.
