RETIREMENT
On March 10, 2000, Frank Wooten retired from his position
as Sr. Administrator in the SCSEP Program. Mr. Wooten
completed ten years of dedicated service to Monroe County.
Mr. Wooten was hired by the County on February 15, 1990 as
the Director of the SCSEP Program.
Mr. Wooten was the Safety Alternate and Representative for
the Social Services Department for 9 years. He also was the
County Representative to the AIDS Consortium for five years.
In addition, Mr. Wooten accepted and fulfilled his
responsibilities for providing special care for residents
during hurricane disaster and evacuation preparedness. His
assistance was invaluable.
Monroe County expresses sincere appreciation for Mr.
Wooten's dedication and commitment to the Social Services
Department and The National Council on Aging. He has
enabled many clients to return to productive lives through
his successful management of the program. His commitment
and willingness to help others has been an asset to the
Department.
The entire staff of the Social Services Department and the
County wish you peace, happiness, and good health.
