ITEM BACKGROUND: The Board authorized staff to advertise for bids to lease the Thomas
Street employee parking lot at Jackson Square, Key West, after regular County business hours
during weekdays, weekends and holidays in order to generate revenue. No bids were received
at the April 13, 2000,. bid opening.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: On August 11, 1999, the Board authorized staff to
advertise for bids to lease the Thomas Street employee parking lot.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Do not re-advertise for bids due to lack of bidder interest.
