RE:
Transfer of Funds
The BOCC at their January, 2000 meeting agreed that the remaining funds of the $1.1 million
provided by the TOC for Capital Projects should follow the procedure of the Request for Bid
process with review by the appropriate DAC with recommendation for funding through the
TOC.
A request for bids was advertised, applications received, reviewed by the OAC. DAC I is
recommending two projects for funding (Key West Botanical Gardens and Mel Fisher
Museum). OAC IV is recommending two projects for the Village of Islamorada (Ann's Beach
and Library Beach).
In order to appropriate the funds, a transfer from the Districts I & IV Advertising Campaign, and
Districts I & IV events portion of their budgets will be moved to Capital Projects. The OAC I &
IV Advertising Campaign and the events will therefore, be funded out of the Two Penny
Special Project allocation for their specific District.
The attached resolution accomplishes the transfer of the funds as described above.
